1. Scope and operator

This notice applies to the official website above and the related features it provides, and explains how personal data involved in the service is collected, processed and used.

The data collector and service operator is the tw_doujin_event project operator (“this site”). Other services set up with this project’s source code are the responsibility of whoever sets up each of them, and this notice does not apply to them.

2. General browsing and data in your browser

Browsing the public maps and catalogs does not require an account.

Personal features such as favorites, groups and plans are currently stored in the browser you use and are not synced across devices; they may not be recoverable after you clear your browser data.

3. Categories of data collected

Depending on the features used, this site may process the following data:

• Account and contact data: for example, the email address used to sign in.
• Identity and permission verification data: for example, the URLs, explanations or other necessary proof provided when claiming a circle.
• Public content provided by users: for example, circle names, pen names, works, sales information, links, images, tags and other content chosen to be public.
• Event and map data: for example, event dates, venues, booths, circle names, map layouts, submitted content and its necessary source data.
• Event application data: the event name, official source, planned dates and location, the applicant’s relationship to the event, a description and the review result; viewable only by the applicant and site administrators.
• Account notification data: necessary claim, permission, review and publication results, and circle content update digests whose frequency can be adjusted or turned off; we keep email settings, the scope of what each notice covers, the minimum changed items and sending records, and do not store full content separately. Sending records that are completed, cancelled or ended after failing are kept for 30 days, and your own notification data is erased when you delete your account.
• Administrator notification data: email settings and sending records for pending-review notices; administrators can turn off notices or adjust their frequency on the site’s admin page, and sending records that are completed or cancelled are kept for 30 days.
• Necessary technical, security and activity records: for example, sign-in status, connection and security records, and records of actions such as claiming, editing, reviewing or deleting.

Of this data, circle, event and map content that is marked or designed to be public is shown on the public website; account, verification, security and internal activity data are, in principle, not made public.

4. Purposes and how data is used

To the extent necessary to provide the service, this site collects, processes and uses data for the following purposes:

• Providing and maintaining the map, catalog, search and related features.
• Providing account sign-in, permission verification, circle claims, and the organizer and contributor workspace features.
• Reviewing event setup applications and providing the results; after an application is approved, the event’s content must still pass review before the event can be published.
• Sending necessary account-related results of reviews, permissions, administrative actions and publication, and sending circle content update digests according to your settings.
• Sending digests of newly added items awaiting review according to administrator settings.
• Displaying and managing event, booth, circle and map content provided by users or organizers.
• Maintaining service security, preventing abuse, and handling anomalies or rights disputes.
• Maintaining and improving the service, and necessary operational contact.

Data is used as follows:

• Period of use: for the purposes above, while the account or service relationship exists, and for as long as needed for security, protection of rights or dispute handling; once there is no longer a need to keep it, data is deleted, no longer used, or de-identified according to its nature.
• Region of use: Taiwan, and the regions where the infrastructure or service providers used by this site provide their services.
• Who uses the data: this site’s operator, event organizers or administrators who have been granted permissions for a feature, and the service providers needed for functions such as website hosting, data storage, email and security. Public data may be viewed by any user of the website.
• How data is used: it is processed through the website, information systems, email and necessary manual review; public content is shown on the website as chosen or provided by users or organizers.

5. Effect of not providing data

General public browsing does not require any account data.

Without the email needed to sign in, you cannot use the control panel features that require identity verification; without the necessary data for a particular claim, contribution or organizer feature, that feature may not be completed. Whether to provide optional public circle information is up to you.

6. Your personal data rights

Under applicable law, you may make the following requests regarding personal data held by this site:

• To inquire about or review it.
• To receive a copy of it.
• To supplement or correct it.
• To stop its collection, processing or use.
• To delete it.

Some content you maintain yourself can be edited or deleted directly in the control panel; other personal data requests can be sent to maintain@kotoban.top. To prevent data from being changed or deleted by someone other than you, this site may verify the requester’s identity or permissions before processing a request.
